Shaw Ferry Phase One
| The first meeting of citizens concerned with the
safety at Shaw Ferry and Hwy 11 went very well. The approximately forty
folks in attendance were brought up to date with where the project
stands at this time. Everyone in attendance was encouraged to begin
contacting their state and local officials to build support for the much
needed improvements. Many of those in attendance took petitions to have filled to present to the county commission at a later date. A second meeting is planned for some time soon. Hopefully, state representatives Jimmy Matlock and Dennis Ferguson and state senator Randy Mcnally will be on hand for the next meeting.
