The Loudon County Office of Planning and Community Development is a countywide planning agency
serving Loudon County, Lenoir City, the City of Loudon, and the Town of Philadelphia. Each governmental unit appoints members to the planning commission,
with the exception of Philadelphia which is served by the City of Loudon. The Office of Planning is administered by the Executive Planning Council, a
seven member board appointed by three member governments. Members of the Executive Planning Council are Charlie Harrison, Chairman, Henry Mitchell,
Toby Cheatham, Harold Duff, Jim Pope, Judy McGill, and Eddie Simpson.
Three Regional Planning Commissions serve the entire County. They are the Loudon County Regional Planning Commission, the Lenoir City Regional Planning Commission, and the Loudon Regional Planning Commission.
